2. Setup and Assembly
Your Freego F3 Pro Max electric bike comes partially assembled. Please follow these instructions carefully for proper setup.
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your package, carefully open the box and remove all components. The bike and accessory box may arrive in two separate packages due to weight. Inspect all parts for any damage during transit. The package includes the electric bike, installation tools, and this user manual.

2.2 Battery Installation and Charging
The bike is equipped with a 48V/55Ah removable dual lithium-ion battery. For safety during shipping, the battery may not be fully charged and is often secured or removed. Locate the battery keys, typically zip-tied to the handlebars. Unlock the battery compartment and carefully slide the battery into place. The charge port is usually located on the top of the battery, covered by a rubber cap. Connect the provided charger to fully charge the battery before first use. The battery was almost full, just needed to be topped off.

2.3 Rear Suspension Installation
The rear suspension may need to be installed. Remove any temporary bracket from the frame where the rear suspension is to be mounted. Align the suspension unit and secure it with the provided bolts and tools. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.

2.4 Handlebar Installation
Attach the handlebars to the stem. Ensure they are centered and at a comfortable angle before tightening the bolts. The bike features BMX-style handlebars for an upright riding position.
2.5 Headlight Installation
Install the headlight onto the front fork or handlebar. Connect the wiring as instructed. The headlight is crucial for visibility during night riding.

2.6 Front Wheel Installation
Carefully lift the front of the bike and align the front wheel with the fork. Insert the axle through the wheel hub and secure it according to the instructions. Ensure the wheel spins freely and is properly aligned.
2.7 Brake Caliper Installation
Install the front brake caliper. Remove any shipping spacers from the brake pads. Position the caliper over the brake rotor and secure it with the appropriate bolts. Ensure the brake pads do not rub against the rotor when the brake lever is not engaged.
2.8 Front Fender Installation
Attach the front fender to the front fork. This helps protect against splashes and debris.
2.9 Pedal Installation
Screw the pedals into the crank arms. Note that pedals are typically marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right. Ensure they are tightened securely.
2.10 Final Checks
Before riding, perform a thorough check of all assembled components. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are tight. Check tire pressure (20-inch x 4.0 fat tires). 3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the bike, first ensure the battery is turned on (there's a switch on the battery itself). Then, use the NFC key card or your phone (if synced) to unlock the display. The LCD control panel will illuminate. To power off, reverse the process or long-press the power button on the display.

3.2 Mode Selection
The F3 Pro Max offers multiple riding modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport. These modes can be selected via the controls on the handlebar. The LCD display will show the current mode. The bike also allows switching between single-motor and dual-motor modes using a dedicated red button.

3.3 Throttle Usage
The F3 Pro Max features a thumb throttle for power on demand. Gently engage the throttle to accelerate. Be mindful of the bike's powerful dual motors, especially in Sport mode. The throttle type has been upgraded from a twist throttle to a thumb throttle for enhanced safety.

3.4 Lights and Horn
The bike is equipped with bright head and tail lights for improved visibility. Activate them using the handlebar controls. A horn is also integrated for alerting others.
3.5 Pedal Assist
