3. Setup

3.1 Attaching Handles

The polisher comes with two detachable handles: a D-handle and a side handle. Choose the handle that provides the most comfortable and stable grip for your task.

  1. To install the D-handle, align the handle with the mounting holes on the polisher head and secure it with the provided screws using the wrench.
  2. To install the side handle, screw it into the designated threaded hole on either side of the polisher head.

3.2 Attaching Polishing Pads

The polisher uses a hook-and-loop backing plate for easy pad attachment. Select the appropriate pad for your task (wool, flat foam, or wave foam).

4. Operation

4.1 Powering On/Off

  1. Connect the polisher to a suitable power outlet.
  2. To turn on, press the power switch forward. The switch has a lock feature; push the rear of the switch to engage the lock for continuous operation.
  3. To turn off, press the power switch again to release the lock and stop the polisher.

4.2 Speed Control

The polisher features 6 variable speed settings (2000-6400 OPM) controlled by a dial located at the rear of the tool. Adjust the speed according to the task and product being used.

  • Speed 1-2 (2000-2800 OPM): Ideal for waxing and light polishing.
  • Speed 3-4 (3700-4600 OPM): Suitable for buffing and cleaning, and removing minor blemishes.
  • Speed 5-6 (5500-6400 OPM): For removing paint defects, oxidation, and heavy compounding.
