6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Fan
- Disconnect power before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the fan.
- For internal cleaning, carefully remove the fan housing (if applicable and safe to do so) and gently clean the blades with a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use water or liquid cleaners directly on electrical components.
6.2 Carbon Filter Maintenance
- The pre-filter cloth is machine washable. Remove it from the carbon filter and wash as needed to maintain optimal airflow and filtration.
- The activated carbon inside the filter is refillable/replaceable. Replace the carbon when odor absorption efficiency decreases.
7. Troubleshooting
- Fan not turning on: Check power connections, ensure the power adapter is securely plugged in, and verify the on/off switch on the controller is in the 'on' position.
- Low airflow: Check for obstructions in the ducting or filter. Ensure the pre-filter cloth is clean. Verify fan speed settings.
- Excessive noise: Ensure the fan is securely mounted and not vibrating against surfaces. Check for loose components or debris in the fan blades.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth/Wi-Fi is enabled and the fan is within range. Restart the app and the fan if necessary. Refer to the MarsPRO app's help section for specific connectivity troubleshooting.
- Odor not being removed: The carbon filter may be saturated. Clean the pre-filter or replace the activated carbon.
