2. Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.

- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
- Place the machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
4.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, drip tray, and coffee grounds container with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX line.
- Replace the water tank securely.
4.4 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220 Volts).
- Press the power button to turn on the machine. The machine will perform an initial rinse cycle.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Filling the Bean Hopper
- Open the lid of the bean hopper located on top of the machine.
- Pour fresh coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill.
- Close the lid securely.
5.2 Adjusting Grind Settings
The machine features a GrindPro™ stainless steel grinder with 13 settings. To adjust the grind:
- Locate the grind adjustment dial inside the bean hopper.
- Turn the dial to select your desired grind fineness. Finer grinds are suitable for espresso, coarser for other coffee types.
5.3 Brewing Coffee
The LCD screen technology simplifies operation with pre-set coffee options.

- Place one or two cups under the coffee spouts. Ensure the adjustable nozzle height is set appropriately for your cup size.
- On the touch display, select your desired coffee type (e.g., Espresso, Americano).
- The machine will automatically grind the beans, brew, and dispense the coffee.
- For pre-ground coffee, use the dedicated pre-ground coffee compartment (refer to specific instructions in the full manual for this feature).
5.4 Using the Steam Wand
The integrated steam wand allows you to froth milk for lattes and cappuccinos.

- Fill a milk frothing pitcher with cold milk.
- Position the steam wand into the milk.
- Activate the steam function on the control panel.
- Move the pitcher up and down to create foam. Turn off steam when desired temperature/texture is reached.
- Wipe the steam wand immediately after use with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee machine.
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray and Coffee Grounds Container: Empty and rinse daily. The machine will indicate when the coffee grounds container needs emptying.
- Water Tank: Rinse daily and refill with fresh water.
- Coffee Spouts: Wipe with a damp cloth.
- Steam Wand: Clean immediately after each use to prevent milk residue buildup.

6.2 Weekly Cleaning
- Brew Unit: Remove the brew unit (refer to the full manual for specific instructions) and rinse it under lukewarm water. Allow to air dry before reinserting.
- Interior: Wipe the interior of the machine where the brew unit sits with a damp cloth.
6.3 Descaling
The machine will prompt you when descaling is required. Use a descaling solution recommended by Beko and follow the instructions provided with the descaling product. Regular descaling prevents mineral buildup and maintains machine efficiency.
