2. SIM Card Insertion

Your BLU View 2 smartphone requires a SIM card to connect to the Total by Verizon network. Ensure the phone is powered off before inserting or removing the SIM card.

1. Locate the SIM card slot on the side of your device.
2. Use the provided SIM ejector tool (if applicable) or a small paperclip to open the SIM tray.
3. Place the SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
4. Gently push the SIM tray back into the slot until it is flush with the phone's body.

3. Initial Power On and Activation

After inserting the SIM card, you can power on your device and proceed with activation.

1. Press and hold the Power button (usually on the right side) until the screen lights up.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account sign-in.
3. To activate your service, visit totalbyverizon.com and select "activate" to follow the prompts. This process links your phone to your Total by Verizon plan.

Operating Your BLU View 2

Basic Functions

• Making Calls: Tap the Phone icon, enter the number, and tap the call button.
• Sending Messages: Open the Messages app, tap "Start chat," enter the recipient and message, then send.
• Internet Browsing: Use the pre-installed web browser or download one from the Google Play Store.
• Wi-Fi Connectivity: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi to connect to available networks.
• Bluetooth Pairing: Navigate to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth to pair with other Bluetooth devices.

Camera Usage

The BLU View 2 features a 13MP main camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera.
