3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Ensure the chainsaw is turned off and the chain brake is engaged.
- Insert the fully charged BLi30 battery into the battery compartment until it clicks securely into place.
- To charge the battery, connect the QC250 charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The charger indicator lights will show the charging status.

3.2. Chain and Bar Assembly (if not pre-assembled)
- Place the guide bar onto the chainsaw studs.
- Carefully loop the X-Cut chain around the drive sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face forward on the top of the bar.
- Replace the side cover and hand-tighten the nuts.
- Use the tool-less tensioning system to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still allow for manual movement.
3.3. Filling the Chain Oil Reservoir
- Unscrew the oil cap and fill the reservoir with recommended bar and chain oil.
- Monitor the oil level during operation and refill as needed to ensure proper chain lubrication.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is installed and fully charged.
- Disengage the chain brake by pulling the front hand guard towards the front handle.
- Press and hold the safety switch, then squeeze the trigger to start the chainsaw.
4.2. Using Boost Mode
For increased cutting power, press the Boost Mode button located on the handle. This provides 25% more power for demanding tasks. The indicator light will illuminate when Boost Mode is active.

4.3. Cutting Techniques
Always maintain a firm grip with both hands on the chainsaw handles. Position yourself securely and ensure the chain is clear of obstructions before starting a cut. Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar to prevent kickback. For felling trees, follow proper felling procedures and safety guidelines.
