4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

4.2 Positioning the Projector

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the projector to prevent overheating. The optimal projection distance is between 1.2 meters and 3.0 meters, yielding a screen size of 20 to 80 inches.

4.3 Connecting Input Devices

The projector supports various input sources:

  • HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from your device (e.g., laptop, game console, TV box) to the HDMI port on the projector.
  • USB: Insert a USB flash drive or external hard drive into the USB port.
  • Storage Card: Insert a compatible memory card into the Storage Card slot.
  • AV: Use the provided AV cable to connect to devices with AV output (e.g., older DVD players).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Ensure the rear ON/OFF switch is 'ON'. Press the Power button on the projector's control panel or the remote control.
  • To Power Off: Press the Power button on the projector's control panel or the remote control. Confirm shutdown if prompted.

5.2 Adjusting Focus

After powering on, rotate the focus ring located near the projection lens until the projected image appears clear and sharp.

5.3 Selecting Input Source

Press the 'Source' button on the projector or remote control. Use the navigation buttons to select the desired input source (HDMI, USB, Storage Card, AV) and press 'OK'.

5.4 Media Playback (USB/Storage Card)

When a USB drive or Storage Card is inserted and selected as the source:

  1. Navigate through the file browser using the remote control's navigation buttons.
  2. Select the desired file (video, image, audio) and press 'OK' to play.
  3. Use the Play/Pause, Volume, and Mute buttons on the remote for media control.

Supported file formats include: Video (AVI, RMVB, DAT, MOV), Image (JPEG, BMP, PNG), Audio (WMA, MP3).

5.5 Menu Settings

Press the 'Menu' button on the remote control or projector to access settings. Use navigation buttons to adjust parameters such as:

  • Picture Settings: Brightness, Contrast, Color, Aspect Ratio (4:3 / 16:9).
  • Sound Settings: Volume, Audio Mode.
  • Time Settings: Sleep Timer.
  • Option Settings: OSD Language (English, Russian, Chinese, etc. - 23 languages supported).

Press 'OK' to confirm changes and 'Exit' to leave the menu.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, which can scratch or damage the lens.

6.2 Cleaning the Projector Body

Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Ensure no liquid enters the ventilation openings or ports.

6.3 Ventilation

Regularly check that the ventilation grilles are free from dust and obstructions. Blocked vents can lead to overheating and reduce the lifespan of the projector.

6.4 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry, dust-free environment. Consider using the original packaging or a protective bag to prevent dust accumulation.

7. Troubleshooting
