Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
• Do not operate the dehumidifier if the power cord or plug is damaged.

Key Components:

• Control Panel: Intuitive interface for setting modes, humidity levels, and timer.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides for proper air circulation.
3. Initial Standby: If the unit was tilted during transport, let it stand upright for a minimum of 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted into the unit. The dehumidifier will not operate if the tank is full or improperly seated.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Functions:

Mode Button	Cycles through operating modes (e.g., Dehumidify, Laundry Drying, Sleep).
Hum Set Button	Adjusts the desired humidity level (e.g., 40% - 80% RH).
Timer Button	Sets the auto-on or auto-off timer (up to 12 hours).
Speed Button	Adjusts fan speed (e.g., High, Low).
Lock Button	Locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes.

General Operation:

1. Turn On: Press the Power button. The display will show the current room humidity.
2. Set Desired Humidity: Press the Hum Set button repeatedly to select your desired humidity level. The unit will operate until this level is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
3. Select Mode: Press the Mode button to choose between different operating modes.
   • Dehumidify Mode: Standard operation to reduce ambient humidity.
   • Laundry Drying Mode: Increases fan speed and continuous operation to assist in drying clothes.

   • Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower fan speed and reduced noise level for quiet nighttime use.

4. Set Timer: Press the Timer button to set an auto-off time (when the unit is on) or an auto-on time (when the unit is off).

5. Fan Speed: Use the Speed button to adjust the fan speed as desired.
6. Child Lock: Press and hold the Lock button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the child lock function.

Continuous Drainage:

For continuous operation without emptying the water tank, you can connect the included drain hose to the continuous drain outlet. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a suitable receptacle or drain.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

Emptying the Water Tank:

When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the tank, empty the collected water, and reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
3. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
4. Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting.

Cleaning the Unit Exterior:

Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
