1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the Eapmic Vertical LED Fog Machine. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• The machine must be placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating and ensure proper fog dispersion.
• Always ensure the machine is placed horizontally on a stable surface. Do not tilt or turn it over during operation or storage.
• Use only high-quality, water-based fog fluid specifically designed for fog machines. Using other liquids may damage the unit or create hazardous conditions.
• Turn off the power supply and unplug the machine before adding fog fluid, performing any maintenance, or checking components.
• Keep a safe distance of at least 20cm (8 inches) from the fog nozzle during operation to avoid direct contact with hot fog.
• If you observe reduced smoke output, loud pump noise, or the machine fails to spray fog, immediately turn off the power. Check the fog fluid level, fuses, cables, and power plug before attempting to restart.
• This appliance is for adult supervision only. Do not allow children to operate this device.
• Never pack the device when it is hot. Allow it to cool completely before storage.

2. Product Overview

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your fog machine for first-time use.

1. Unpack the Machine: Carefully remove the fog machine and all accessories from its packaging. Ensure all components listed in the package contents are present.
2. Placement: Place the fog machine on a flat, stable, and horizontal surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for heat dissipation and fog dispersion. Keep it away from flammable materials.
3. Fill the Fluid Tank:
   • Ensure the machine is unplugged and powered off.
   • Unscrew the cap of the fluid tank located on top of the machine.
   • Carefully pour high-quality, water-based fog fluid into the tank. Do not overfill; the tank capacity is 2 liters.
   • Securely screw the cap back onto the fluid tank.
4. Connect Power: Insert the power cord into the power inlet on the back of the machine, then plug the other end into a standard AC110-120V 60Hz power outlet.
5. Initial Warm-up: Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The machine will begin its initial warm-up cycle, which typically takes 3-5 minutes. The display will indicate when it is ready for operation.

4. Operating Instructions

The Eapmic Fog Machine offers three control methods: manual, wireless remote, and DMX512.

4.1. Manual Operation

1. Ensure the machine is powered on and has completed its warm-up cycle (indicated by the display).
2. Press the 'FOG' button on the control panel to initiate fog output. Release the button to stop.
3. Use the 'MENU', 'UP', 'DOWN', and 'ENTER' buttons on the control panel to navigate settings and adjust LED light colors or modes directly on the unit.

4.2. Wireless Remote Control

The included wireless remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance of 10-15 meters (32.8-49.2 ft).

1. Ensure the remote control has a working 23A battery (one is included).
2. Point the remote towards the fog machine.
3. Press the designated button on the remote to activate fog output.
4. Use other buttons on the remote to change LED light colors or select various lighting effects (fade, flash, smooth, strobe).

4.3. DMX512 Control

For professional stage setups, the machine can be controlled via DMX512 protocol.

1. Connect a DMX controller to the 'DMX INPUT' port on the fog machine using a standard DMX cable.
2. If linking multiple DMX devices, connect the 'DMX OUTPUT' of this machine to the 'DMX INPUT' of the next device.
3. Set the DMX address for the fog machine using the control panel buttons ('MENU', 'UP', 'DOWN', 'ENTER'). Refer to your DMX controller's manual for specific channel assignments for fog output and LED control.
4. Operate the fog machine and its LED functions through your DMX controller.

4.4. LED Light Functions

The 24 RGB LEDs offer a variety of lighting options:

• 7 Color Options: Select from various static colors.
• Lighting Effects: Choose between fade, flash, smooth, and strobe modes to create dynamic visual effects with the fog.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your fog machine.

• Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Fluid Tank: Regularly check the fog fluid level. If the machine will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to empty the tank and run a small amount of distilled water through the system to prevent clogs.
• Nozzle Cleaning: If the fog output becomes weak or inconsistent, the nozzle may be partially clogged. Consult a qualified technician for cleaning or replacement if necessary. Do not attempt to clear the nozzle with sharp objects.
• Storage: Always allow the machine to cool down completely before storing it. Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
