This keyboard is specifically designed for the following Microsoft Surface Pro models:

Note: This keyboard is not compatible with Surface Pro 7/6/5/4/3/2/1, Surface Go 3/2/1, or Surface Laptops.

Setup Instructions
1. Charging the Keyboard
Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and the other end to a 5V 1A power adapter (not included). A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

The keyboard features a Type-C fast charging port for convenient power replenishment.
2. Attaching to Surface Pro
Align the magnetic connector of the keyboard with the corresponding port on your Surface Pro. The strong magnetic attraction will secure the keyboard in place, allowing for a stable connection.

The keyboard attaches easily and securely to the Surface Pro via strong magnetic connectors.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
To connect the keyboard wirelessly via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the keyboard is charged and powered on.
- On your Surface Pro, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Press the Fn + C keys simultaneously on the keyboard to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
- Select "TECPHILE K17 Pro" or similar from the list of available devices on your Surface Pro.
- Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing.

To initiate Bluetooth pairing, press the Fn + C keys on the keyboard.
Operating Instructions
1. Backlight Control
The keyboard features 7-color adjustable backlighting with 3 brightness levels. To adjust:
- Press the bulb-shaped button (often near the Fn key or F-row) to cycle through backlight colors.
- Press Fn + bulb-shaped button to adjust brightness levels (low, medium, high, off).

The keyboard offers 7 backlight colors and 3 brightness levels for enhanced visibility.
2. Touchpad Functionality
The extra-large precision touchpad supports multi-touch gestures, allowing for laptop-like navigation. You can customize gestures within your Windows settings.
- Left Click: Single tap or press the left side of the touchpad.
- Right Click: Two-finger tap or press the right side of the touchpad.
- Scrolling: Two-finger drag up or down.
- Zoom: Pinch with two fingers.
To lock/unlock the touchpad, press the dedicated touchpad lock key (often F1 or a similar function key).

The wide touchpad provides precise control and supports multi-touch gestures.
3. Multimedia and Function Keys
The top row of keys includes dedicated function keys (F1-F12) and multimedia controls. To use the multimedia functions, press the Fn key in combination with the desired function key.

4. Auto Sleep Mode
To conserve battery life, the keyboard will automatically enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, simply press any key.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the keyboard.
2. Battery Care
- Use only a 5V 1A power adapter for charging to prolong battery lifespan.
- Avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the keyboard to about 50% before storage and recharge every few months.
Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Connecting/Typing
- Check Battery: Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged.
- Bluetooth Connection: Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your Surface Pro and the keyboard is paired. Try unpairing and re-pairing the keyboard.
- Power Cycle: Turn the keyboard off and then on again.
- Compatibility: Confirm your Surface Pro model is listed as compatible.
Backlight Not Working
- Brightness Level: Ensure the brightness is not set to the lowest level or off. Press Fn + bulb-shaped button to adjust.
- Battery Level: Low battery might disable backlighting. Charge the keyboard.
Touchpad Not Responding
