2. Setup

Before first use, ensure the generator is placed on a level, stable surface in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from windows and doors. Never operate indoors.

2.1 Unpacking and Assembly

2.2 Adding Engine Oil

• Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick on the engine.
• Remove the cap and, using the provided funnel, add the recommended engine oil (refer to specifications for oil type and capacity).
• Check the oil level with the dipstick; it should be at the full mark. Do not overfill.
• Securely replace the oil fill cap.

2.3 Adding Fuel

• Ensure the generator is turned off and cooled down.
• Unscrew the fuel cap.
• Carefully pour fresh, unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank. Do not overfill.
• Securely replace the fuel cap.

3. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your generator.

3.1 Starting the Generator

• Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all connections are secure.
• Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
• If starting cold, move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position.
• Press the electric start button or pull the recoil starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
• Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
• Allow the generator to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical devices.
