Setup and First Use
Charging the Device
Before first use, ensure your IQOS ILUMA pocket charger is fully charged. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the pocket charger and plug the UK Power Adaptor into a wall outlet. A full charge takes approximately 135 minutes. To check the battery status, tap the button on the pocket charger. The lights will indicate the charge level. For the holder, place it inside the pocket charger to charge.

Operating Instructions
Using TEREA Sticks
The IQOS ILUMA is designed exclusively for use with TEREA tobacco sticks. To use, gently insert a TEREA stick into the holder. The device will automatically begin pre-heating, indicated by a first vibration. If it does not start automatically, press the button on the holder to initiate pre-heating. Once pre-heating is complete (approximately 20 seconds), the device will vibrate a second time, indicating it is ready for use. A final vibration will signal when 2 puffs or 30 seconds of use remain.

Maintenance
One of the key advantages of the IQOS ILUMA system is its bladeless induction heating technology, which means there is no need for cleaning. The device is designed to be free from tobacco residue, simplifying maintenance significantly. Simply dispose of the used TEREA stick after each session.
Troubleshooting
- Device Not Turning On: Ensure the pocket charger and holder are sufficiently charged. Press and hold the button on the pocket charger for 4 seconds to turn it on.
- Holder Not Charging: Verify the holder is correctly inserted into the pocket charger. Check if the pocket charger itself has enough battery.
- No Vapor/Poor Experience: Ensure you are using genuine TEREA sticks. Check if the TEREA stick is inserted correctly and fully. Allow the device to complete its pre-heating cycle.
- Lights Flashing: Refer to the device's indicator light patterns in the full user manual (not provided here) for specific error codes or status indications. Often, a quick recharge or reset (holding the button for 10 seconds) can resolve minor issues.
