Setup

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the LC4 charger and the four 1.5V AA lithium batteries from their packaging.
2. Connect Charger: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the LC4 charger and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The indicator lights on the charger will illuminate.
3. Insert Batteries: Insert the XTAR 1.5V AA batteries into the charger slots, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - ends match the markings on the charger).
4. Initial Charge: Although the batteries come pre-charged, it is recommended to fully charge them before first use to ensure optimal performance. The charging process will begin automatically.

Operating Instructions

Charging the Batteries

1. Ensure the LC4 charger is connected to a power source.
2. Place up to four XTAR 1.5V AA batteries into the charging slots.
3. The indicator lights above each slot will flash while charging.
4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn solid green.
5. Remove the batteries from the charger once charging is complete.

A full charge for four batteries typically takes 2.9 hours.

Maintenance

• Storage: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Charging: Always use the XTAR LC4 charger or other compatible 1.5V lithium-ion battery chargers. Do not use chargers designed for 1.2V batteries.
• Recharge Frequency: For optimal battery health, recharge batteries after prolonged periods of non-use, such as after one year of storage.
