1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the BURLAN S760 1500W PTC Electric Space Heater. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new heater. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

The BURLAN S760 is designed to provide supplemental heating for indoor spaces, featuring PTC ceramic heating technology, adjustable thermostat, oscillation, and multiple safety features.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater includes a Tip-Over Protection switch that automatically shuts off the heater if it is accidentally tipped over.
  • The heater is equipped with an Overheat Protection system that will shut off the unit if it reaches an unsafe temperature.
  • A 30-second Power-Off Delay mechanism ensures the heater cools down safely before fully shutting off.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage if needed.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, curtains, and other flammable materials. Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operation

The heater can be operated using the touch controls on the unit or the provided remote control.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the Power Button (Power icon) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater ON or OFF.
  • When turning OFF, the heater will enter a 30-second cool-down phase before fully shutting down.

5.2 Mode Selection

Press the Mode Button (Mode icon) to cycle through the available modes:

  • Nature Wind: Fan-only mode, no heat.
  • 900W: Low heat setting.
  • 1500W: High heat setting.

5.3 Temperature Adjustment

In heat modes, use the Temperature Up/Down Buttons (Temperature Up/Down icons) on the control panel or remote to set your desired temperature between 59℉ and 95℉ (15℃ and 35℃). The heater will automatically maintain the set temperature.

5.4 Oscillation Function

Press the Oscillation Button (Oscillation icon) on the control panel or remote to activate or deactivate the 70-degree oscillation feature, which helps distribute heat more broadly.

5.5 Timer Function

Press the Timer Button (Timer icon) to set the automatic shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer by one hour. The display will show the set time, then revert to the current temperature.

5.6 ECO Mode

The ECO mode automatically adjusts the heating power (900W or 1500W) to maintain the set temperature while optimizing energy consumption. Activate this mode for energy efficiency.

5.7 Quiet Operation

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Gently vacuum the air inlet and outlet grilles to remove dust and lint. Do not allow water to run into the interior of the heater.

6.2 Storage

If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it as described above, then place it in its original packaging or a protective cover. Store in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
