Steps for IR Learning:

  1. Press and hold the button on the Remoter ATV3 that you wish to program for 8 seconds until its indicator light flashes, then release. The indicator light will remain on after flashing.
  2. Align the IR emitter of your original remote control with the IR receiver of the Remoter ATV3 (typically at the top). Press the corresponding button on your original remote that you want the Remoter ATV3 to learn.
  3. The indicator light on the Remoter ATV3 will flash, indicating successful learning.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 to program other buttons.

IR Learning Notes:

  • The four dedicated TV buttons (Power, Input, Volume Up, Volume Down) have default IR values compatible with Samsung TVs. These can be reprogrammed via IR learning.
  • For Q3 and Q5 compatible devices, the 4 TV buttons can learn Samsung and TCL IR codes. Other buttons on the remote may not be programmable via IR learning for these specific devices.
  • For AOSP remote control compatibility, all buttons can be programmed via IR learning.
  • If no IR learning is performed, all buttons will retain their default values.
