6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Turbionaire Enia 60 kitchen hood.
6.1 Cleaning Grease Filters
The 5-layer aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain extraction efficiency and prevent grease buildup.
- Turn off the power supply to the hood before cleaning.
- Open the mobile glass panel.
- Remove the grease filters by releasing their latches.
- Wash the filters by hand with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- Allow filters to dry completely before re-installing.

6.2 Cleaning the Hood Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces of the hood with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, especially on the matte black finish or glass panel.
6.3 Carbon Filter Replacement (Recirculating Mode Only)
If your hood is operating in recirculating mode with optional carbon filters (TCF1), these filters cannot be washed and must be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage). Refer to the carbon filter instructions for specific replacement procedures.
