1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and save these safety instructions before operating your YougetTech EH22 Evaporative Humidifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
  • Do not place the humidifier directly on carpet, wood, or other surfaces that may be damaged by water or moisture.
  • Ensure the voltage of the power supply matches the voltage specified on the humidifier's rating label.
  • Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact customer support.
  • Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Always unplug the humidifier before moving, cleaning, or refilling the water tank.
  • Do not immerse the humidifier in water or other liquids.
  • Do not block air vents or outlets.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • Use only clean, cool tap water in the water tank. Do not add essential oils or other additives to the water tank.
  • Regular cleaning is essential to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria.

2. Product Overview

The YougetTech EH22 is an evaporative humidifier designed to increase humidity in large living spaces without producing mist. It features a large water tank, automatic humidity control, and multiple fan speeds.

2.1 Components and Controls

  • Air Outlet / Water Filling: Top section for humidified air release and water refilling.
  • Control Panel: Located on the top, with buttons for various functions and a digital display.
  • Overflow Hole: Prevents water from overfilling the unit.

  • 6.5L Water Tank: Large capacity tank for extended operation.

Control Panel Functions:

  • Lights off Key: Turns off the display lights.
  • Timer Key: Sets the operating timer (0-24 hours).
  • Set- Key: Decreases humidity level or timer setting.
  • Water Shortage Indicator: Flashes when water level is low.
  • Set+ Key: Increases humidity level or timer setting.
  • Humidification Key: Adjusts fan speed/humidification level.
  • Power Key: Turns the unit on or off.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the humidifier from its packaging.
  • Remove all packaging materials, including any protective films or inserts.
  • Inspect the humidifier for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

3.2 Placement

  • Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of space around the humidifier for proper airflow.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with drafts.
  • Do not place the humidifier directly on or near electronic devices or furniture susceptible to moisture damage.

3.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the top grille of the humidifier. The top-filling design eliminates the need to remove the water tank.
  3. Monitor the water level indicator on the front of the unit to avoid overfilling. Do not fill past the MAX line.
  4. Once filled, plug the humidifier into a standard 110V AC power outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on the humidifier, press the Power Key on the control panel. The display will illuminate.
  • To turn off the humidifier, press the Power Key again.

4.2 Setting Humidity (Auto Humidistat)

  • The humidifier features an Auto Humidistat function to maintain a desired humidity level.
  • Press the Set+ Key or Set- Key to adjust the target humidity level. The range is from 40% to 99%.
  • The humidifier will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set humidity.

4.3 Adjusting Fan Speed (Humidification Level)

  • Press the Humidification Key to cycle through the 7 available fan speeds.
  • Higher speeds will increase the humidification output (up to 1500 ml/h) and cover larger areas (up to 1,250 sq. ft.).
  • Lower speeds provide quieter operation and maintain humidity stability.

4.4 Setting the Timer

  • Press the Timer Key to activate the timer function.
  • Use the Set+ Key or Set- Key to set the desired operating time from 0 to 24 hours.
  • The humidifier will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

4.5 Lights Off Function

  • Press the Lights off Key to turn off the display lights for undisturbed sleep or reduced light pollution.
  • Press it again to turn the lights back on.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

5.1 Daily Maintenance

  • Empty any remaining water from the tank and wipe it dry if the humidifier will not be used for an extended period.
  • Refill with fresh, cool tap water daily.

5.2 Weekly Cleaning

  1. Unplug the humidifier.
  2. Remove the top grille and the humidifier wick.
  3. Cleaning the Water Tank: Empty any remaining water. Wipe down the interior surfaces of the water tank with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all detergent residue.
  4. Cleaning the Humidifier Wick: The honeycomb structure wick is washable. It can be washed by hand with mild soap and water or placed in a washing machine on a gentle cycle. Allow the wick to air dry completely before reinserting.
  5. Wipe the exterior of the humidifier with a soft, damp cloth.
  6. Reassemble the humidifier once all parts are clean and dry.

5.3 Storage

  • Before storing, ensure the humidifier is thoroughly cleaned and all parts are dry.
  • Store the humidifier in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

Review the following common issues and solutions before contacting customer support.
