1. Introduction

The LIORQUE Wireless Indoor Outdoor Weather Station provides comprehensive environmental monitoring for your home. It displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, air pressure, and a weather forecast. Additional features include an alarm clock with snooze function and a clear LCD backlight.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit.
  2. Insert 3 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment.
  4. Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor.
  5. Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  6. Close the battery compartment.
  7. The main unit and outdoor sensor will automatically attempt to pair.

3.2 Sensor Placement

  • Place the outdoor sensor in a location that avoids direct sunlight and heavy rain.
  • An approximate vertical height of 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) is recommended for optimal readings.
  • The sensor has an IPX4 waterproof level, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction.
  • The maximum transmission distance between the main unit and the outdoor sensor is 100 meters (328 feet) in open air.
  • The main unit supports up to 3 outdoor sensors. You can switch between channels (CH1, CH2, CH3) on the main unit to view data from different sensors.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Overview

The LCD screen provides a comprehensive overview of environmental data and time information.

  • Time and Date: Displays current time, date, and day of the week.
  • Weather Forecast: Icons indicating predicted weather conditions.
  • Indoor Readings: Current indoor temperature and humidity.
  • Outdoor Readings: Current outdoor temperature and humidity (from connected sensor).
  • Air Pressure: Current atmospheric pressure.
  • Trend Indicators: Arrows showing rising, falling, or stable trends for temperature, humidity, and pressure.

4.2 Backlight Function

To activate the display backlight, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button located on the top of the unit. The backlight will illuminate for 10 seconds and then automatically turn off to conserve battery power.

4.3 Time and Date Setting

  1. Press the SET button to enter time setting mode.
  2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the flashing value.
  3. Press SET again to confirm the current setting and move to the next parameter (e.g., 12/24H format, month/day format, year, month, day, day of week language).
  4. Continue until all settings are configured. The unit will exit setting mode automatically after a few seconds of inactivity.

4.4 Temperature Unit Switching (°C/°F)

Press the °C/°F button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

4.5 Air Pressure and Weather Setting

Press the PRESSURE button to cycle through air pressure display modes (Absolute/Relative) or to set the initial weather forecast. The weather forecast icons include:

  • Sunny
  • Sunny to Cloudy
  • Cloudy
  • Light Rain
  • Heavy Rain
  • Snowy

4.6 Alarm Clock Function

The weather station features a dual alarm clock with three snooze reminders.

  1. Press the ALARM button to enter alarm setting mode.
  2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the alarm time.
  3. Press ALARM again to confirm and set additional alarms or snooze duration.
  4. To activate the snooze function when the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.

4.7 Max/Min Temperature and Humidity Records

Press the MAX/MIN button to view the maximum and minimum recorded indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity values. Press the button again to cycle through current, maximum, and minimum readings.

5. Maintenance

  • Clean the display and unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the outdoor sensor is free from debris, dust, or obstructions that could affect readings.
  • Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous operation.
  • If storing the unit for an extended period, remove all batteries.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No display on main unit: Check battery polarity and ensure batteries are fresh.
  • Outdoor sensor not connecting:
    • Ensure batteries are correctly installed in the sensor.
    • Press the CHANNEL button on the main unit to cycle through channels (CH1, CH2, CH3) to find the sensor.
    • Move the sensor closer to the main unit to reduce interference or distance.
    • Reset both units by removing and reinserting batteries.
  • Inaccurate readings:
    • Ensure the outdoor sensor is placed away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or extreme moisture.
    • Verify that the main unit is not near heat-emitting appliances.
    • Allow time for the sensors to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
  • Weather forecast inaccurate: The weather forecast is based on changes in atmospheric pressure and is an estimation. It may not always perfectly match local weather conditions. Allow 24-48 hours for the station to calibrate after initial setup.
