2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the device. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the label maker.

• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Keep the device away from water or other liquids.
• Use only Vixic BZ tapes for reliable operation and to prevent damage to the print head.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the label maker.
• Ensure proper battery installation and disposal.
• Do not power the label maker with both the USB-C cable and AAA batteries simultaneously, as this can lead to blurred print quality or damage to the labeler.

4. Setup

4.1 Power Supply

The Vixic H1100 label maker offers two power options:

• AAA Batteries: Insert 6 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the device. Ensure correct polarity.
• USB-C Cable: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the label maker and a 5V-2A USB power adapter (not included). The device is not rechargeable; the USB-C cable provides direct power.

Important Warning: Do not power the label maker with both the USB-C cable and AAA batteries simultaneously. This can lead to blurred print quality or damage to the labeler.

4.2 Loading Label Tape

1. Open the tape compartment cover on the back of the label maker.
2. Insert the label tape cassette with the tape facing the print head. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. Close the tape compartment cover.

Note: Only use Vixic-certified BZ tapes for reliable operation. Non-Vixic BZ tapes with chips may cause feed errors or faded prints.

5.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the device on or off.
• Typing: Use the QWERTY keyboard to enter your desired text. The backlit LCD screen provides clear visibility in various lighting conditions.
• Navigation: Use the OK and arrow keys to navigate menus and confirm selections.
• Clear: Press the Clear button to delete characters or clear the entire input.
• Print: Press the Print button to print your label.

5.2 Personalizing Your Labels

The H1100 offers extensive customization options:

• Fonts: Choose from 16 different fonts. Press the Font button to access font options.
• Frames: Select from over 100 frames to add decorative borders to your labels. Press the Frame button.
• Symbols: Access over 800 symbols to enhance your labels. Press the Symbol button.
• Font Sizes: Adjust text size to Small, Medium, or Large.
• Barcodes: The label maker supports printing barcodes.
• Multi-line Text: Print up to 4 lines of text on labels up to 12mm (0.47 inch) wide.

5.3 Advanced Features

• Narrow Margin Setting: Control label waste by setting narrow margins. Press the Label button and select 'Narrow'.
• Multi Edit: Type and print up to 20 different labels in one batch. Access this feature via the Multi Edit button.
• Print Copies: Print up to 9 copies of a single label. Press Shift + Print.
• File Storage: Store up to 9 labels for fast reprinting. Use the File function to save and open labels.

5.4 Cable Labeling Modes

The H1100 offers specialized modes for network and industry cable labeling:

• Wrap Type: For labels that wrap around cables.
• Flag Type: For labels that stick out like a flag from cables.
• Faceplate: For flat labels on faceplates or panels.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean your label maker:

When the tape runs out or you wish to change tape types:
