4. Setup

4.1 Installing the Tripod

Attach the included tripod to the 1/4'' screw hole located at the bottom of the gimbal handle.

4.2 Unfolding/Folding the Gimbal

4.3 Phone Installation and Balancing

It is recommended to remove your phone case before installation for optimal balance. Keep the phone logo upward and clip the phone in the center of the clamp. If the phone appears tilted, gently adjust its position to the left or right until it is horizontal and balanced.

5.1 Gimbal Modes

The VB4 offers several operating modes, indicated by the Follow Status Indicator:

  • Pan Follow Mode (PF): The camera pans left and right following your hand movements, while tilt and roll axes are locked.
  • Follow Mode (F): The camera follows both pan and tilt movements, keeping the roll axis locked.
  • All Follow Mode (AF): All three axes (pan, tilt, roll) follow your hand movements.
  • Lock Mode (L): All three axes are locked, keeping the camera pointing in a fixed direction.
