Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Lifetime Home Collapsible Foldable Heavy Duty Utility Wagon Cart. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use, setup, operation, and maintenance of your new utility wagon. Please read these instructions thoroughly before assembly and use, and retain them for future reference.
Safety Information
To ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage, please observe the following safety guidelines:
- Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 220 lbs (100 kg). Overloading can cause damage to the wagon and potential injury.
- Folding/Unfolding: Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts and pinch points during the folding and unfolding process.
- Supervision: Do not allow children to play in or with the wagon unsupervised. This wagon is not a toy.
- Secure Assembly: Ensure all parts, especially the wheels and frame locks, are securely in place and locked before each use.
- Terrain Awareness: Exercise caution when pulling the wagon over uneven, soft, or sloped terrain. The wagon does not have brakes, so avoid leaving it on inclines unattended.
- Handle Adjustment: Always ensure the handle is securely locked in your desired position before pulling.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the wagon for any signs of wear, damage, or loose components. Do not use if damaged.
Setup: Unfolding Your Wagon
Your Lifetime Home Utility Wagon comes pre-assembled, requiring only unfolding and minor adjustments before its first use.
- Unpack: Carefully remove the wagon from its packaging. It will be in a folded, compact state.
- Unfold: Place the folded wagon on a flat, stable surface. Gently pull the sides of the wagon outwards from the center. The frame will begin to expand.
- Secure Base: Once the frame is partially open, push down firmly on the center of the wagon's base until it lies flat and the frame is fully extended and locked into place.
- Handle Adjustment: Extend the adjustable handle to your preferred height. Ensure it clicks into a locked position.
The wagon is now ready for use. The wheels are pre-attached and designed for all-terrain movement.

Operating Instructions
Loading the Wagon
- Distribute weight evenly within the wagon to maintain stability.
- Place heavier items at the bottom and lighter items on top.
- Do not allow items to protrude excessively, which could obstruct movement or cause imbalance.
Adjusting the Handle
- The handle can be adjusted in length and angle (between 90 and 200 degrees) to suit your height and pulling preference.
- Press the release button or lever on the handle mechanism, adjust to the desired position, and ensure it locks securely before use.
Folding for Storage
To fold the wagon back into its compact state:
- Empty the wagon completely.
- Locate the pull tab or strap in the center of the wagon's base.
- Pull upwards on this tab/strap. The sides of the wagon will begin to collapse inwards.
- Continue pulling until the wagon is fully folded. Secure any straps or clips if present to keep it compact.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Fabric: The tear-resistant and waterproof fabric can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow to air dry completely before folding and storing.
- Frame: Wipe the steel frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
- Wheels: Periodically clean the wheels to remove dirt, sand, or other obstructions that may affect their smooth operation.
Storage
- Store the wagon in its folded, compact state in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the wagon is clean and dry before storage to prevent mold or mildew.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Wagon does not unfold/fold smoothly. | Obstruction in the frame mechanism; base not pushed down/pulled up correctly. | Check for any debris or items obstructing the frame. Ensure the base is fully pushed down to lock or pulled up to collapse. |
| Wheels are not rolling freely. | Debris caught in wheels; axle needs lubrication. | Clean wheels and axles thoroughly. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant if necessary. |
| Wagon feels unstable or tips easily. | Overloaded; weight unevenly distributed; used on unsuitable terrain. | Reduce load to within 220 lbs capacity. Redistribute items for even weight. Use on stable, level ground. |
| Handle does not lock in place. | Locking mechanism obstructed or damaged. | Check for debris in the locking mechanism. Ensure the handle is fully extended or retracted to engage the lock. If damaged, contact customer support. |
