- Eyecups: Adjustable for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses.
- Focus Adjustment Wheels: Used to sharpen the image for each eyepiece.
- Strap Buckle: Attachment point for the neck strap or harness.
- Power Button: Activates the device and initiates measurements.
- Mode Button: Cycles through different measurement modes.
- Battery Compartment: Houses the CR123A batteries.
- Laser Launch Objective: Emits the laser beam for distance measurement.
- Laser Receiver Objective: Detects the reflected laser beam to calculate distance.
4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the device (refer to Image 3.1).
- Unscrew the battery compartment cap.
- Insert two CR123A batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Securely replace the battery compartment cap.
4.2 Attaching the Strap/Harness
Attach the provided harness strap to the strap buckles on the binocular for secure carrying.
4.3 Adjusting Eyecups and Interpupillary Distance
- Adjust the eyecups by twisting them up or down to achieve a full field of view. Extend them if you do not wear glasses, retract them if you do.
- Hold the binocular up to your eyes and adjust the distance between the two barrels until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This sets the interpupillary distance.
4.4 Diopter Adjustment
Each eyepiece has an independent focus adjustment wheel. To set the diopter:
- Cover the right objective lens with your hand.
- Look through the left eyepiece at a distant object and rotate the left focus adjustment wheel until the image is sharp.
- Cover the left objective lens with your hand.
- Look through the right eyepiece and rotate the right focus adjustment wheel until the image is sharp.
- Your binocular is now adjusted for your eyes. Minor adjustments may be needed for different distances.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- Press the Power Button once to turn on the device.
- The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.
5.2 Focusing
After initial diopter adjustment, use the individual focus adjustment wheels on each eyepiece to fine-tune the image clarity for various distances.
5.3 Measurement Modes
Press the Mode Button to cycle through the available measurement modes:
M1: Continuous Remote Measurement

Image 5.1: M1 Continuous Remote Measurement mode display.
Aim at a stationary target and click the Power Button, or hold the Power Button to aim at a moving target. The unit will provide the distance within 0.5 seconds. Maximum range is 1500 yards.
M2: Horizontal Distance Mode

Image 5.2: M2 Horizontal Distance Mode display, showing linear distance, horizontal distance, and angle.
In this mode, the display will sequentially show the linear distance, horizontal distance, and the angle degree of the target. This assists in accurate shooting, especially on inclines or declines.
M3: Long Distance Priority Mode

Image 5.3: M3 Long Distance Priority Mode display, ignoring foreground objects.
This mode is designed to ignore partially occluded foreground objects such as bushes, stones, or branches. When measuring multiple targets, the system will display the distance to the farthest target.
5.4 Switching Units (Yards/Meters)
The device typically starts in Yards. To switch between Yards and Meters, consult the specific instructions in your device's quick start guide or hold the Mode button for a few seconds while powered on.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning Lenses
- Use the provided lens cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lenses.
- For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of lens cleaning fluid applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Avoid using abrasive materials or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens coatings.
6.2 General Care and Storage
- Store the binocular in its protective case when not in use to prevent dust and damage.
- Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure lens caps are in place to protect the objective and ocular lenses.
7. Troubleshooting
- Problem: Lens caps do not stay on.
Solution: Ensure the lens caps are correctly aligned and fully seated. If they are loose, consider using alternative lens protection or securing them with a small amount of adhesive if permanent attachment is acceptable. - Problem: Eye-width adjustment (interpupillary distance) does not stay set.
Solution: The hinge mechanism may have reduced friction over time. If the adjustment drifts, manually reset it each time or consider a temporary solution like a small piece of tape to hold the desired position if the device is primarily used by one person. - Problem: Rangefinder numbers are hard to read/see against dark objects.
Solution: The display uses black numbers. In low light or against very dark backgrounds, visibility may be reduced. Try aiming at a slightly brighter area near the target if possible, or wait for improved lighting conditions. - Problem: Inconsistent range finding in rain or light fog.
Solution: Laser rangefinders can be affected by atmospheric conditions such as rain, fog, or heavy dust, which can scatter the laser beam. Accuracy may decrease in these conditions. Use the device in clear conditions for optimal performance. - Problem: Device does not power on.
Solution: Check battery polarity and ensure batteries are fresh. Replace batteries if necessary. - Problem: Image is blurry.
Solution: Adjust the individual focus wheels on each eyepiece and ensure the eyecups are set correctly for your vision (with or without glasses).
