- Ensure all cables are connected securely but do not force them into ports.
4. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Device Not Recognized: Ensure the iRig HD X is securely connected to your device using the correct cable (Lightning or USB-C). Check your device's audio settings to confirm the iRig HD X is selected as the input/output device. Restart the application or your device if necessary.
- Audio Latency: The iRig HD X features ultra-low latency. If you experience noticeable delay, check the latency settings within your audio application (e.g., AmpliTube, TONEX, or DAW) and set them to the lowest possible value.
- No Sound Output: Verify that your headphones are properly connected and their volume is turned up. Check the volume levels within your audio application and on your connected device. Ensure the correct output is selected (e.g., headphones or Amp out).
- Input Signal Too Low/High: Use the multi-LED gain indicator and the one-knob control to adjust your input gain. Aim for green LEDs with occasional yellow flashes to ensure a strong signal without clipping.
