4. Setup
The GP RECYKO E821 charger is designed for ease of use. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Connect Power: Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charger's USB input port.
- Power Source: Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter, computer USB port, or power bank) with a minimum output of DC 5.0V / 1A. For optimal charging speed, a 2.0A output is recommended.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Inserting Batteries
The charger supports both AA and AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries. It can charge 2, 4, 6, or 8 batteries simultaneously.
- Ensure the charger is connected to a power source.
- Insert AA or AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries into the charging slots, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - ends match the markings on the charger).

5.2 Charging Process
Once batteries are correctly inserted and the charger is connected to a USB power source, the charging process will begin automatically.
- The charging time for 2 batteries (using DC 5.0V / 2.0A min input) is approximately 360 minutes (6 hours) for 2100mAh AA batteries and approximately 150 minutes for 850mAh AAA batteries.
- The charger can handle batteries with different capacities (650 - 2600 mAh).

5.3 LED Indicators
The charger features 4 LED indicators to display the charging status for each pair of batteries:
- Power On: Green LED flashes for 0.5 seconds and then turns off.
- Charging: Green LED flashes slowly.
- Fully Charged: Green LED lights up solid.
- Bad Batteries/Disposable Batteries Inserted: Green LED flashes fast.
