6. Maintenance and Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your vanity.
6.1 Vanity (MDF)
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Spills: Immediately wipe up any water spills or moisture to prevent swelling or damage to the MDF.
- Protection: Avoid placing hot items directly on the surface. Use coasters or protective pads if necessary.
6.2 Sink (Ceramic)
- Cleaning: Clean the ceramic sink regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning.
- Stains: For tough stains, a paste of baking soda and water can be used, followed by rinsing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool, which can scratch the glossy finish.
- Chemicals: Do not allow harsh chemicals (e.g., drain cleaners, strong acids) to sit on the ceramic surface, as they can cause discoloration or damage.
