2. Safety Information
- Consult your physician before using this device if you have any medical conditions.
- Do not use this device for diagnosis or treatment of any health problem or disease.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Do not use the device in a moving vehicle.
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Source
The monitor can be powered by either AAA batteries or a DC 6V USB-A cable.

Battery Installation:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
DC Power Connection:
Connect the provided DC 6V USB-A cable to the monitor's power port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
5.2 Setting Date and Time
Accurate date and time settings are crucial for tracking your measurements.
- With the device powered off, press and hold the SET button for a few seconds until the year starts flashing.
- Press the MEM button to adjust the year.
- Press SET again to confirm the year and move to the month setting.
- Repeat the process using MEM to adjust and SET to confirm for month, day, hour, and minute.
- Once all settings are confirmed, the device will exit setting mode.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Applying the Arm Cuff
Proper cuff placement is essential for accurate readings.

- Ensure the cuff is connected securely to the monitor's port.
- Place the cuff on your bare upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above the elbow joint.
- The air tube should run down the center of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, ensuring it is not too tight or too loose. The index line should fall within the range indicated on the cuff.
- Sit upright with your feet flat on the floor, and rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
6.2 Taking a Measurement
- Press the START/STOP button to turn on the monitor. The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Remain still and silent during the measurement. Avoid talking or moving.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
- The reading will automatically be stored in the selected user's memory.
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the monitor, or it will automatically shut off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
6.3 Dual User Functionality
The monitor supports two users, each with 90 memory slots.

Switching Users:
- With the device powered off, press the SET button. The current user icon will flash.
- Press the MEM button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
- Press SET again to confirm your selection.
6.4 Viewing Memory Records
To review past measurements:
- With the device powered off, press the MEM button.
- The most recent reading will be displayed first.
- Press the MEM button repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
- To exit memory mode, press the START/STOP button or wait for automatic shut-off.
7. Understanding Your Readings
The monitor displays Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA), and Pulse (PUL) readings. It also features an irregular heartbeat detection symbol.
