Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your wheelchair:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and seat cushion with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Wheel Inspection: Periodically check the wheels for wear and tear. Ensure they rotate freely and are free of debris.
- Brake Check: Regularly test the handbrake to ensure it engages and disengages properly.
- Fastener Check: Inspect all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Tighten if necessary.
- Storage: Store the wheelchair in a dry, clean place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Mujocooker C3 wheelchair, refer to the following common solutions:
- Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure all locks are disengaged before folding. New wheelchairs may require a few uses for mechanisms to loosen and operate smoothly. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts if stiffness persists.
- Brakes Not Engaging: Check the handbrake levers and ensure they are pulled fully upwards until they click. Inspect the brake pads for wear.
- Wheelchair Feels Unstable: Verify that all frame locks are fully engaged after unfolding. Ensure the user is within the specified weight limit.
- Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for debris (hair, lint, etc.) caught in the wheel axles. Clean as needed. Ensure tires are not damaged.
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
