Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear when riding. Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-ride checks as outlined in this manual.

Non-Zero Start Function

The EK8S is equipped with a Non-Zero Start function for safety. To activate the motor, the bicycle must be propelled to a speed of at least 3.75 MPH (6 KM/H) before the pedal assist engages. This prevents accidental acceleration from a standstill.

Braking System

The e-bike features dual mechanical disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. These provide reliable stopping power. Regularly inspect brake pads and discs for wear and proper function. Ensure brakes are responsive before each ride.
