Initial Setup
Winding the Watch
Your OLEVS automatic watch is powered by the motion of your wrist. However, for initial setup or if the watch has stopped due to lack of wear, it needs to be manually wound. To do so, rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times until you feel resistance. This will build up enough power reserve to start the watch.
Setting Time, Date, and Day
The OLEVS automatic watch features a 24-hour display, day, and date functions. Follow these steps to set them:
- Time Setting: Pull the crown out to the outermost position (Position 3). Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure to set the correct AM/PM for the 24-hour display and date change.
- Date Setting: Push the crown in one click to Position 2. Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
- Day Setting: While in Position 2, rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week.
- Month Setting: Use the recessed pusher on the side of the watch (often near the 2 o'clock position) with a small tool (like a toothpick) to advance the month.
- Year Setting: Use the recessed pusher on the side of the watch (often near the 4 o'clock position) to advance the year.
- Once all settings are correct, push the crown back to Position 1 (normal operating position).

Band Adjustment
The metal bracelet can be adjusted to fit your wrist. If you need to remove or add links, it is recommended to visit a professional jeweler. Some watches may include a small tool for self-adjustment; if so, carefully follow the instructions provided with the tool to avoid damaging the pins or links.

Operating Instructions
Automatic Movement
Your OLEVS watch is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement. This means it is powered by the natural motion of your arm. When worn regularly (approximately 8 hours a day), the watch will self-wind and maintain its power reserve. The skeleton case back allows you to admire the intricate movement of the rotor and gears.
Dial Features
The watch dial is designed for both functionality and aesthetics:
- 24-Hour Display: A sub-dial indicates the 24-hour cycle, often referred to as a day/night indicator.
- Calendar Functions: Dedicated sub-dials or windows display the day of the week and the date.
- Luminous Indices: The hour markers and hands are treated with luminous material, allowing for readability in low-light conditions.
- Crystal Glass Windshield: The dome-shaped crystal provides excellent 360-degree visibility and is highly scratch-resistant and durable.

Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 3 ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as during hand washing or light water work. However, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering, especially in hot water or steam environments like hot springs, as steam can penetrate the seals and damage the movement.
Maintenance
Proper care will ensure your OLEVS watch remains in excellent condition for years to come.
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the metal bracelet, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Avoiding Extreme Conditions: Protect your watch from extreme temperatures (hot or cold), direct sunlight for prolonged periods, and strong magnetic fields, which can affect the accuracy of the mechanical movement.
- Water Resistance Care: Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. If the watch comes into contact with saltwater, rinse it with fresh water and dry it thoroughly. Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet.
- Storage: When not wearing the watch for extended periods, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your watch, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Watch Not Running: If the watch has stopped, it may simply need to be wound. Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times. If it still doesn't start, ensure it is worn for at least 8 hours daily to allow the automatic movement to function.
- Date/Day Not Changing Correctly: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM. The date and day typically change around midnight. If they are changing at noon, you may need to advance the time by 12 hours.
- Condensation Inside the Crystal: This indicates moisture ingress. Stop using the watch immediately and seek professional repair. Do not attempt to dry it yourself, as this can cause further damage.
