3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Use the provided Type-C charging cable to connect the speaker to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

  • The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging.
  • A full charge typically takes less than 4 hours.
  • The speaker offers over 15 hours of playtime at medium volume (65 decibels) on a full charge.

3.2 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button () for 2-3 seconds.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button () for 2-3 seconds again.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The speaker features Bluetooth 5.0 for fast and stable connections.

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (the Bluetooth indicator light will flash).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "NOTABRICK Ki" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if within range (up to 100 feet).

3.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can pair two NOTABRICK Ki speakers together for a 360° stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the power button (). It will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone once connected.
  4. Once TWS is established, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 3.3.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

The speaker features intuitive buttons on its top panel:

  • Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off. Double-press for TWS pairing.
  • Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
  • Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
  • Play/Pause (▶/‖): Short press to play or pause music.
  • Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, TF card, and AUX modes.

4.2 Hands-free Calling

The built-in microphone allows for high-quality, convenient hands-free calls when connected via Bluetooth.

  • To answer an incoming call, short press the Play/Pause button.
  • To end a call, short press the Play/Pause button.
  • To reject an incoming call, long press the Play/Pause button.

4.3 Audio Input Modes

In addition to Bluetooth, the speaker supports other audio sources:

  • TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card into the designated slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and play supported audio formats (WAV / FLAC / APE / MP3).
  • AUX Mode: Connect an external audio device using the 3.5mm AUX cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

4.4 Voice Assistant Function

5. Maintenance

5.1 Waterproof and Dustproof Features

The NOTABRICK Ki speaker is IPX6 rated, meaning it is resistant to mild water spray and splashing. It is also dustproof and sandproof, making it ideal for outdoor use.

  • Do NOT partially or fully submerge the speaker in water.
  • Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when exposed to water or dust.
