Setup

  1. Assemble the Foam Cannon: Ensure all components are securely attached. The suction tube with the stainless steel ball and filter should be inserted into the soap bottle. The foam cannon body then screws onto the bottle.
  2. Select Orifice Nozzle: The foam cannon comes with a 1.25mm orifice nozzle pre-installed, suitable for pressure washers between 1850-5000 PSI. For electric pressure washers with lower PSI (800-1850 PSI), it is recommended to replace the 1.25mm nozzle with the included 1.10mm nozzle. To change, use a flat screwdriver to carefully disassemble the current nozzle and install the alternative.
  3. Prepare Soap Solution: Fill the 32 oz soap bottle with your desired car wash shampoo and water. A common mixing ratio for dense foam is 1 part car wash shampoo to 5 parts water. Adjust as needed based on your soap and desired foam thickness. The bottle has measuring marks for convenience.
  4. Connect to Pressure Washer: Attach the 1/4" quick connector of the foam cannon to your pressure washer's spray gun wand. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

Operating Instructions

  1. Adjust Spray Pattern: The foam nozzle allows for variable spray angles from a concentrated 0° pencil jet to a wide 60° fan spray. Turn the front adjustable nozzle to achieve the desired spray pattern. It can also be rotated 360° to change spray direction (vertical or horizontal).
  2. Adjust Foam Thickness: Use the micro detergent regulation knob on top of the foam cannon to control the soap-to-water mixing ratio. Turn the knob clockwise for thicker foam and counter-clockwise for less foam.
  3. Apply Foam: With the pressure washer running, aim the foam cannon at the surface you wish to clean and pull the trigger. Apply an even layer of foam over the entire surface. The foam cannon can spray soap foam up to 6 meters (20 feet).
  4. Dwell Time: Allow the foam to dwell on the surface for a few minutes to break down dirt and grime. Do not let the foam dry on the surface.
  5. Rinse: After the foam has dwelled, disconnect the foam cannon from the pressure washer wand and reattach your standard pressure washer nozzle. Rinse the foamed surface thoroughly with clean water, working from top to bottom.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No foam or very thin foam
  • Incorrect soap-to-water ratio
  • Orifice nozzle clogged
  • Pressure washer PSI too low
  • Soap regulation knob closed
  • Adjust soap ratio (e.g., 1:5 soap to water)
  • Clean or replace orifice nozzle
  • Ensure pressure washer meets minimum PSI (800 PSI)
  • Open soap regulation knob
Foam cannon leaks
  • Loose connections
  • Damaged O-rings
  • Tighten all connections
  • Inspect and replace O-rings if damaged
Difficulty attaching/detaching quick connector
  • Debris in connector
  • Worn quick connector
  • Clean connector thoroughly
  • Lubricate or replace quick connector
