5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the Mini USB port on the bottom of the MP3 player.
2. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a computer's USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
3. The device will indicate charging status on the LCD screen. Charge fully before first use.

The MP3 player has a long battery life, providing over 5 hours of playback on a full charge.

5.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

The device supports Micro SD cards up to 32GB for storing your music.

1. Locate the TF-CARD slot on the top of the MP3 player.
2. Gently insert a Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

5.3 Connecting Headphones

1. Plug the 3.5mm jack of your wired headphones into the headphone port on the top of the MP3 player.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Slide the Power Switch (located on the top) to the 'ON' position. The LCD screen will light up.
• To Power Off: Slide the Power Switch to the 'OFF' position. The screen will turn off.

6.2 Transferring Music Files

To transfer music files to your MP3 player:

1. Ensure the MP3 player is powered ON.
2. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the USB cable.
3. Your computer should recognize the MP3 player as a removable disk.
4. Drag and drop your desired MP3 audio files into the player's storage or the inserted Micro SD card.
5. Once files are transferred, safely eject the device from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable.

6.3 Basic Music Playback

1. After powering on, the player will typically enter 'Music Mode' or display the last played track.
2. Press the Play/Pause (►▮) button to start or pause playback.
3. Press the Previous Track (⏪) or Next Track (⏩) buttons to skip between songs.
4. Press and hold the Previous Track (⏪) or Next Track (⏩) buttons to rewind or fast forward within a track.
5. Press the VOL button, then use the Previous Track (⏪) or Next Track (⏩) buttons to adjust the volume level. Press VOL again to confirm or wait a few seconds.

6.4 Using the 'M' (Menu/Mode) Button

The 'M' button allows you to navigate through different modes or menu options. Specific functions may vary slightly depending on the firmware version. Typically, it allows you to:

• Switch between playback modes (e.g., normal, repeat one, repeat all, shuffle).
• Access settings (e.g., equalizer, display brightness).
