4.2 Mounting the Sensor
The BK9C sensor is designed for easy, magnet-free installation on your bicycle's crank arm.
- Select a suitable rubber band from the package.
- Place the sensor on the inside of your bicycle's crank arm.
- Secure the sensor firmly to the crank arm using the rubber bands. Ensure the sensor is stable and does not move during cycling.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Activating the Sensor
After installation, the sensor will activate automatically when it detects movement. Rotate your bike's crank arm a few times to wake up the sensor. A blue LED indicator light will flash briefly to confirm activation.
5.2 Pairing with Devices and Applications
The COOSPO BK9C Cadence Sensor supports both Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT+ connectivity, allowing it to pair with a wide range of cycling apps, GPS bike computers, and smartwatches.

General Pairing Steps:
- Ensure the sensor is awake by rotating the crank arm.
- Enable Bluetooth or ANT+ on your receiving device (smartphone, bike computer, smartwatch).
- Open your preferred cycling application (e.g., Rouvy, Zwift, Peloton, Wahoo) or navigate to the sensor pairing menu on your bike computer/smartwatch.
- Search for new sensors. The BK9C should appear in the list.
- Select the BK9C sensor to pair. Once connected, the app/device will display real-time cadence data.
Note: Some applications, such as the Wahoo app, may have limitations on pairing multiple third-party sensors simultaneously.
5.3 Compatibility
The BK9C sensor is compatible with a wide range of fitness platforms:
- Fitness Applications: Rouvy, Zwift, Peloton, Wahoo Fitness, CooSpoRide, and others supporting ANT+ or Bluetooth cadence sensors.

- Smartwatches: Compatible with smartwatches that support external ANT+ or Bluetooth sensors for cycling data.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
The COOSPO BK9C Cadence Sensor provides approximately 300 hours of battery life. When the battery is low, the sensor's performance may become inconsistent, or it may fail to connect. Replace the CR2032 battery as described in Section 4.1.
6.2 Cleaning and Storage
The sensor has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against temporary immersion in water. However, to ensure longevity:
- Wipe the sensor with a damp cloth to clean it.
- Do not soak the sensor in water or clean it with high-pressure water jets.
- Store the sensor in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
