1. Important Safeguards

3. Before First Use

3.1 Unpacking

  • Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  • Ensure all components listed in Section 2.1 are present.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

  • Wash the inner pot, lid, and accessories (steam rack, water collection box) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The inner pot is dishwasher safe.
  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

4. Setup

4.1 Placement

Place the pressure cooker on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface away from heat sources and flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.

4.2 Inserting the Inner Pot

Place the stainless steel inner pot into the main unit. Ensure it sits properly and is centered.

4.3 Attaching the Lid

  • Align the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the main unit.
  • Lower the lid onto the unit.
  • Rotate the lid clockwise until it locks into place. You should hear an audible click, indicating it is securely sealed.
  • Ensure the pressure limiting valve is set to the 'Seal' position for pressure cooking.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Add ingredients to the inner pot.
  2. Secure the lid as described in Section 4.3.
  3. Plug the power cord into a 120V-60Hz outlet. The display will illuminate.
  4. Use the knob to select your desired cooking function (e.g., Rice, Soup, Meat).
  5. Adjust the cooking time and pressure level (Low, Normal, High) using the corresponding touch buttons if applicable for the selected function.
  6. Press 'Start' to begin cooking. The progress bar on the display will show the current cooking stage (Preheating, Cooking, Keep Warm).
  7. Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode or turn off, depending on the function.

5.3 Pre-Set Timer (24H)

The 24-hour pre-set timer allows you to delay the start of cooking. Select your desired function and cooking time, then press the 'Pre-Set' button and adjust the delay time. The cooker will start automatically after the set delay.

5.4 Keep Warm Function

After most cooking cycles, the appliance automatically switches to a 'Keep Warm' mode to maintain food temperature until serving. This function can also be manually selected.
