1. Introduction

Welcome to the SIMREX X700 Drone User Manual. This guide provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your X700 drone. Please read this manual carefully before operating the drone to ensure safe and optimal performance.

Safety Precautions

  • Always operate the drone in open, clear areas, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
  • Do not fly in strong winds, rain, snow, or other adverse weather conditions.
  • Ensure the drone's battery is fully charged before each flight.
  • Keep hands and face away from rotating propellers.
  • Familiarize yourself with all controls before attempting flight.
  • For beginners, it is recommended to fly with propeller protective covers in an open indoor space.

3. Drone and Remote Components

3.1 Drone Overview

The SIMREX X700 drone features a compact design with integrated propeller guards for enhanced safety. It is equipped with dual cameras for 720P HD imaging and optical flow positioning.

3.2 Remote Control Layout

The remote control provides intuitive operation for the drone. Familiarize yourself with the button functions:

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Battery Charging

The drone is equipped with two 600mAh batteries. Use the provided USB charging cable to charge the drone batteries. Connect the USB cable to a 5V adapter (not included) and then to the drone battery. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status. Ensure batteries are fully charged before flight.

4.2 Propeller Installation/Replacement

The drone uses 'A' and 'B' type propellers. Ensure you match the correct propeller type to the corresponding motor arm as indicated on the drone. Incorrect installation can affect flight stability.

4.3 App Download and Connection

To utilize advanced features and real-time FPV, download the official SIMREX X700 app from your device's app store. Once installed:

  1. Power on the drone.
  2. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named "SIMREX-X700-[unique ID]".
  3. Open the SIMREX X700 app. The drone's camera feed should appear, indicating a successful connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Flight Operations

  • One Key Take-off/Landing: Short press the dedicated button on the remote or in the app to automatically take off or land. Long press for emergency stop.

  • Altitude Hold: The drone will automatically maintain a stable hovering height, making it easier to control.

  • Optical Flow Positioning: This sensor assists in improving flight performance by continuously monitoring ground movement, helping the drone maintain stability and hover accurately.

  • Headless Mode: In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, eliminating the need to adjust its position before flight. This simplifies control for beginners.
  • 3-Speed Adjustment: Switch between low, medium, and high speeds to match your skill level and flying environment.
  • 360° Flips: Perform exciting aerial stunts with a single button press.

5.2 Advanced App Control Features

When connected to the app, the SIMREX X700 offers additional intelligent flight modes:

  • Gravity Control: Intuitively guide the drone by tilting your smartphone.
  • Trajectory Flight: Draw a flight path on your smartphone screen, and the drone will automatically follow the designated route.
  • Real-Time FPV: View live 720P HD video feed directly on your smartphone screen.
  • Photo/Video Capture: Record videos and take photos directly from the app.
  • Digital Zoom: Zoom in or out on the camera feed via the app.
  • Filter Options: Apply various filters to your captured photos and videos directly within the app.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote control. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Propeller Care: Regularly inspect propellers for damage. Replace any bent or broken propellers immediately using the provided spares. Ensure correct 'A' and 'B' propeller placement.
  • Battery Storage: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.
  • General Storage: Store the drone and its accessories in a safe place to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting
