Compatibility Check
Before installation, ensure your bicycle meets the following compatibility requirements:

- Bottom Bracket: Must have a diameter between 34-36mm and a width between 68-73mm.
- Brake Type: Suitable for V-brake and disc brake systems. Not compatible with backpedal brakes.
- Drivetrain: Only suitable for chain drive systems. Not compatible with belt drive.
- Frame Material: Installation on carbon fiber frames is NOT suggested.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Remove Existing Components: Carefully remove the chainring, crank arms, and bottom bracket from your bicycle.
- Install Chainring: Attach the new chainring to the motor using the provided M5 bolts.
- Install Chain Guard: Secure the chain guard using the supplied screws.
- Mount Motor: Slide the motor assembly into the bottom bracket shell of your bike frame.
- Secure Motor: Use the Y-shaped motor mount bracket on the left side to secure the motor.
- Install Crank Arms: Attach the crank arms to the motor spindle.
- Install Chain: Route and install the chain onto the new chainring and rear cassette.
- Connect Wiring Harness: Connect the main wiring harness into the motor assembly.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect the front lamp, speed sensor, and gear sensor (if applicable) to the main harness.
- Install Brake Levers: Slide the brake levers onto the handlebar and tighten them securely.
- Install Thumb Throttle: Install the thumb throttle onto the handlebar and tighten.
- Install Display: Mount the C18 display to your handlebars and secure it.
- Install Battery Mount: Securely install the battery mount onto your bike frame, typically on the downtube.
- Install Battery: Slide the battery onto the installed battery mount until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions
Once installed, power on your e-bike and familiarize yourself with the C18 display and pedal assist functions.
Power On and System Check
Press and hold the power button on the C18 display to turn on the system. The display will show battery level, speed, and pedal assist level.

Pedal Assist Modes
The C18 display offers 9 levels of pedal assist. Use the up/down buttons to adjust the assist level. Higher levels provide more motor assistance.
- Pure Throttle Mode: Engage the thumb throttle for motor power without pedaling.
- Pedal Assist Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal, with 9 adjustable levels.
- Walk Assist Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike.
- Manual Mode: Ride the bike without any motor assistance.
