1. Introduction

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

The camera requires 8 AA batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

  1. Open the camera casing.
  2. Locate the battery compartment.
  3. Insert 8 AA batteries, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals as indicated.

3.2 SD Card Insertion

A 32GB SD card is included for storing photos and videos.

  1. With the camera open, locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.

3.3 Powering On and Mode Selection

The camera has an ON/TEST/OFF switch to select the operating mode.

  1. Slide the switch to the 'TEST' position to access the menu and configure settings. The screen will activate.
  2. After configuring settings, slide the switch to the 'ON' position for automatic operation. The screen will turn off, and the camera will enter surveillance mode.
  3. Slide the switch to 'OFF' to power down the camera.

3.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for outdoor use and can be mounted using the provided strap.

  1. Securely attach the camera to a tree or pole using the mounting strap.
  2. Adjust the camera angle to cover the desired surveillance area.

4. Operating the Camera

4.1 Night Vision Capabilities

The camera features 36 850nm infrared LEDs for clear night vision without startling animals. The 4K version uses red PIR indicator lights.

4.3 Motion Detection and Trigger Speed

4.4 Time Lapse Function

The camera supports time-lapse recording, allowing observation of gradual changes over time.

5. Media Management

5.1 Viewing and Deleting Files

To view or delete recorded videos and pictures:

  1. Slide the camera switch to the 'TEST' position.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button twice to enter the viewing interface.
  3. Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons to navigate through videos and pictures.
  4. Press the 'OK' button to play a selected video or view a picture.
  5. To delete, press 'MENU', select 'Delete', then choose 'Delete Current' or 'Delete All', and confirm.
