4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.

4.2 Placement
The timer features a magnetic back, allowing it to be attached to metal surfaces such as refrigerators, ovens, or whiteboards for convenient access.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
The timer automatically powers on when batteries are inserted. It enters a low-power standby mode when not in use.
5.2 Setting the Countdown Timer
- Rotate the outer ring: Turn the outer ring clockwise to increase the time and counter-clockwise to decrease the time. The display shows minutes (M) and seconds (S).
- Start/Pause: Press the button on the front of the timer once to start the countdown. Press it again to pause.
- Reset: To reset the timer to 00:00, press and hold the button on the front for approximately 3 seconds.

5.3 Adjusting Volume
The timer offers three volume settings: Silent, Low, and Loud. To adjust the volume, locate the small switch or button on the side/back of the timer (refer to Image 4.1 for general location of controls if not explicitly shown). Cycle through the settings to select your preferred volume level.
- Silent (0dB): No audible alarm.
- Low (60-75dB): Moderate alarm sound.
- Loud (80-90dB): High volume alarm.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the timer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
6.2 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the display dims or the timer functions inconsistently. Always use new AAA batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
