Safety Information

Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the inverter or connected devices:

Do not open the inverter casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

1. AC Outlets: Two 110V AC outlets for powering standard electronic devices.

Setup

The BESTEK 500W Power Inverter can be connected to your vehicle's 12V power source in two ways:

Method 1: Using the Cigarette Lighter Plug (for loads up to 150W)

Ensure the inverter's power switch is in the OFF position.
Insert the cigarette lighter plug cable firmly into the inverter's DC input port.
Plug the other end of the cigarette lighter plug into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.
Proceed to the Operating Instructions section.

Method 2: Using Battery Clamps (for loads up to 500W)

This method is recommended for higher power devices or when the cigarette lighter socket cannot provide sufficient power.

Ensure the inverter's power switch is in the OFF position.
Connect the red battery clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter.
Connect the black battery clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter.
Connect the red battery clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
Connect the black battery clamp to the negative (-) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
Ensure all connections are secure and tight.

Operating Instructions

Once the inverter is properly connected to your vehicle's power source:

Turn on the inverter by flipping the power switch to the "ON" position. The power indicator light should illuminate.
Plug your AC-powered devices into the 110V AC outlets or your USB-powered devices into the USB charging ports.
Ensure the total power consumption of your devices does not exceed the inverter's continuous power rating (500W).
When finished, turn off the inverter and disconnect your devices.
Disconnect the inverter from the vehicle's power source.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your inverter:

Cleaning: Regularly wipe the exterior of the inverter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. A built-in cooling fan helps dissipate heat efficiently.
Fuse Replacement: The inverter has a built-in replaceable 30A/32V*2 fuse. If the inverter stops working due to an overload or short circuit, the fuse may need replacement. Refer to the product diagram for the fuse location. Always replace with a fuse of the same type and rating.

Troubleshooting

The inverter is equipped with various protection features indicated by the power/fault LED. Refer to the table below for common issues and their solutions:
