4. Controls and Indicators
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and indicators on your HomeSpot JY508 speaker:

- Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off.
- Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause audio.
- Volume Up / Next Song Button: Press to increase volume. Press and hold to skip to the next song.
- Volume Down / Previous Song Button: Press to decrease volume. Press and hold to go to the previous song.
- Type-C Charging Port: For connecting the charging cable.
- LED Indicator: Shows power status, charging status, and Bluetooth pairing status.
5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red while charging, off when fully charged).
- A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 12 hours of playback time.
5.2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged before first use.
- Press and hold the Power button to turn on the speaker. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, TV, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "HS-JY508" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid (or turn off, depending on model). You will hear an audible confirmation.
- The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator lights up and you hear a power-on sound.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator turns off and you hear a power-off sound.
6.2. Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
- Volume Adjustment: Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons.
- Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button.
6.3. Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the Play/Pause button during an incoming call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button during an incoming call.
- The built-in microphone allows for hands-free communication.
6.4. TV and Gaming Use
The HomeSpot JY508 features low latency audio, making it suitable for synchronized audio with video content.
- For TV Connectivity: Your television must have a built-in Bluetooth function. If not, a separate HomeSpot TV Bluetooth Transmitter (not included) is required to connect the speaker to your TV.
- For Gaming: Connect the speaker via Bluetooth to your gaming console or PC for an immersive audio experience without disturbing others.

7. Maintenance
