Setup

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and verify that all package contents listed above are present.
2. Install Transmitter Battery: The outdoor transmitter requires one 12V 23A alkaline battery (included). Open the transmitter casing (usually by gently prying it open with the provided screwdriver or a small flat tool) and insert the battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the casing securely.
3. Mount Transmitter:
   • Using Adhesive Tape: Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly. Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and apply it to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and firmly press the transmitter onto the wall for at least 30 seconds.
   • Using Screws: Mark the desired mounting location. Drill two small pilot holes at the marked spots. Insert the provided wall anchors (if necessary for your wall type). Secure the transmitter to the wall using the provided screws.

   Important: Choose a location that is easily accessible for visitors and provides optimal signal transmission to the receiver. Avoid mounting on metal surfaces, which can interfere with the wireless signal.
4. Plug in Receiver: Plug the indoor receiver unit into a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your home where the chime can be easily heard. The receiver will power on and be ready for use.
5. Test Functionality: Press the button on the outdoor transmitter. The indoor receiver should chime and the blue LED light should flash. If it does not, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Operating Instructions

• Changing Ringtones:

  On the receiver unit, locate the "Melody" or "Music" button (often indicated by a musical note icon). Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the 55 available ringtones. Stop pressing when you hear your desired melody. The system will automatically save your selection.
• Adjusting Volume:

  Locate the "Volume" button on the receiver (often indicated by a speaker icon). Press this button to cycle through the 5 volume levels, from silent (0 dB) to maximum (110 dB). Select the volume level appropriate for your environment. The system will save your selection.

• Operating Modes (LED Only / Sound + LED):

  Some models may have a dedicated mode button or integrate mode selection with the volume button. By cycling through volume levels, you can reach a silent mode (0 dB) where only the blue LED light flashes when the doorbell is pressed. This is ideal for quiet environments or for users with hearing impairments.
• Memory Function:

  The doorbell system is designed to remember your last chosen melody and volume setting even if the receiver is unplugged or there is a power outage. You do not need to reconfigure settings each time it is powered on.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement (Transmitter):

  When the outdoor transmitter's signal weakens or stops working, it's likely time to replace the battery. The 12V 23A alkaline battery typically lasts 1 to 3 years.
