5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Mounting the Device

The device can be mounted using either the suction cup bracket or the adhesive bracket, depending on your preference and vehicle type.

1. Choose a Location: Select a flat, clean surface on your dashboard or windshield that does not obstruct your view or interfere with airbags.
2. Attach Bracket: Securely attach the chosen mounting bracket to the selected surface. For suction cups, ensure the surface is clean and press firmly before engaging the lock. For adhesive mounts, clean the surface thoroughly and allow the adhesive to cure for several hours before attaching the device.
3. Attach Device: Slide the PLZ screen onto the bracket until it clicks into place. Adjust the viewing angle as needed.

5.2 Power Connection

1. Connect the provided car charger to the power input port on the PLZ screen.
2. Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
3. The device will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

5.3 Camera Installation (If Applicable)

If your model includes a dash camera or backup camera, follow the specific instructions provided with those components for wiring and mounting. Ensure all cables are routed safely and do not interfere with vehicle operation.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Initial Setup and Pairing

1. Power On: Once connected to power, the device will boot up.
2. Language Selection: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language.
3. Bluetooth Pairing:
   • On the PLZ screen, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
   • Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
   • Select "PLZ_CarPlay" (or similar name) from the list on your phone and confirm the pairing code.

6.2 Using Apple CarPlay / Android Auto

After successful Bluetooth pairing, your phone should automatically prompt you to enable CarPlay or Android Auto. If not:

1. Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone (it's used for wireless CarPlay/Android Auto data transfer, even if not connected to a Wi-Fi network).
2. On the PLZ screen, select the "CarPlay" or "Android Auto" icon.
3. Follow any on-screen prompts on both the device and your phone to establish the connection.
4. Once connected, your phone's compatible apps will appear on the PLZ screen, allowing for touch control.

6.3 FM Transmitter Function

To output audio from the PLZ screen to your car's existing stereo system:

1. On the PLZ screen, navigate to the FM Transmitter settings.
2. Select an unused FM frequency (e.g., 87.5 MHz or 108.0 MHz).
3. Tune your car's FM radio to the exact same frequency.
4. Audio from the PLZ screen will now play through your car's speakers. Adjust volume on both the PLZ screen and your car stereo.

6.4 Mirror Link Function

This feature allows you to mirror your smartphone's screen onto the PLZ device.

1. Select the "Mirror Link" or "AirPlay/Android Cast" icon on the PLZ screen.
2. Follow the specific instructions displayed on the screen for connecting your iOS (AirPlay) or Android (Android Cast) device. This typically involves connecting to a specific Wi-Fi network broadcast by the PLZ device and then initiating screen mirroring from your phone's settings.

6.5 Dash Camera and Backup Camera Operation

If your model includes cameras:

• Dash Camera: The front dash camera typically begins recording automatically when the device powers on. Footage is saved to a microSD card (up to 64GB, not included).
• Backup Camera: When properly installed and wired, the screen will automatically switch to the backup camera view when your vehicle is put into reverse.
• Viewing Footage: Access recorded footage through the "Video Playback" option on the device.

7. Maintenance and Care
