3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking

3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Remove the 1.7-liter water tank from the base unit.
- Fill the tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' indicator. For areas with very hard water, a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% distilled water is recommended. Do not use perfumed water or additives.

3.3 First Use

4.1 Powering On and Temperature Selection

4.2 Steam Generation and Ironing

- Press and hold the steam button on the iron handle to release steam. Release the button to stop steaming.

4.3 Vertical Steaming
For quick refreshing of hanging garments, curtains, or delicate fabrics, use the vertical steaming function:
- Hang the garment on a hanger.
- Set the iron to a high temperature setting.
- Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam button. Move the iron up and down the garment.
4.4 Automatic Shut-off
For safety and energy saving, the appliance features an automatic shut-off function. If left unused for 10 minutes, the iron will automatically turn off.
