1. Setup

1.1 Package Contents

  • 8-foot (2.4m) Detachable USB-C Cable

1.2 Connecting the Controller

The PDP Gaming REMATCH GLOW controller is a wired device, ensuring a lag-free connection and eliminating the need for batteries. To connect your controller:

  1. Locate the USB-C port on the top of the controller.
  2. Insert the smaller end of the included 8-foot USB-C cable into the controller's USB-C port.
  3. Insert the larger USB-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One console, or Windows PC.
  4. The controller will automatically power on and connect to your system.

1.3 Initial Software Setup (PDP Control Hub App)

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Controls

The controller features standard Xbox button layouts, including:

  • Left and Right Analog Sticks
  • D-Pad
  • A, B, X, Y Buttons
  • Left and Right Bumpers (LB, RB)
  • Left and Right Triggers (LT, RT)

2.2 Mappable Back Buttons

The REMATCH GLOW controller includes two programmable back buttons (P1 and P2) located on the underside of the controller. These buttons can be mapped to replicate any other controller function for quicker responses during gameplay.

  1. To map a back button, press and hold the Function button (small button near the bottom of the controller).
  2. While holding the Function button, press the back button (P1 or P2) you wish to map.
  3. Still holding the Function button, press the button you want to assign to the back button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, etc.).
  4. Release all buttons. The back button is now mapped.
  5. Refer to the PDP Control Hub App for more advanced remapping options and profiles.

2.3 Audio Controls

The controller features integrated audio controls for convenient adjustments during gameplay:

  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: Connect your gaming headset to the 3.5mm audio jack located at the bottom of the controller.
  • Volume Control: Use the D-pad to adjust game and chat audio on-the-fly. Specific directions on the D-pad (e.g., Up/Down) may control volume, while Left/Right may balance game/chat audio. Consult the PDP Control Hub App for exact configurations.
  • Mic Mute: Double-tap the "Function" button to quickly mute or unmute your microphone. A small LED indicator on the controller may change color to indicate mic status.

2.4 Glow in the Dark Feature

The Space Dust design of your controller features a unique glow-in-the-dark effect. To activate the glow, expose the controller to a light source for a period of time. The glow will be visible in dark environments.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your controller:

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface of the controller regularly.
  • For stubborn dirt or grime, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the controller's finish or internal components.
  • Ensure no liquid enters the ports or openings.

3.2 Storage

When not in use, store your controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and excessive humidity. Detach the USB-C cable and coil it neatly to prevent tangling or damage.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Controller Not Responding

  • Check Cable Connection: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely plugged into both the controller and the console/PC. Try unplugging and re-plugging both ends.
  • Try Different USB Port: Connect the controller to a different USB port on your console or PC.
  • Test on Another Device: If possible, test the controller on another compatible Xbox console or Windows PC to determine if the issue is with the controller or the original device.

  • Mic Mute: Confirm the microphone is not muted by double-tapping the Function button.
