3. Setup
3.1 Initial Setup and Time/Date Adjustment
Your OLEVS watch comes pre-set, but you may need to adjust the time and date upon first use or after a period of inactivity.
- Setting the Time: Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise until the desired time is displayed. Push the crown back in to secure the time.
- Setting the Date/Day: Pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date and day. Be careful not to adjust the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. Push the crown back in once set.
3.2 Adjusting the Watch Band
The stainless steel band can be adjusted to fit your wrist. The watch typically comes with tools for this purpose. It is recommended to perform this adjustment on a stable surface with good lighting.
- Identify the removable links on the watch band. These usually have small arrows indicating the direction to push the pins out.
- Use the provided tool to push the pins out in the direction of the arrows. Remove the necessary number of links to achieve a comfortable fit.
- Reassemble the band by inserting the pins back into the links, ensuring they are securely in place.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the stainless steel band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Water Resistance Care: While the watch is 3ATM waterproof, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering with hot water. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
- Battery Replacement: As a quartz watch, it requires battery replacement periodically. When the watch stops or runs inconsistently, it may be time for a new battery. It is recommended to have this done by a professional watch repair service to maintain water resistance.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields.
6. Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running:
- Check if the crown is fully pushed in.
- The battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch repair service.
- Incorrect Time/Date:
- Refer to Section 3.1 for instructions on setting the time and date.
- Condensation Inside Crystal:
- This indicates moisture ingress. Stop using the watch immediately and take it to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
