4. Setup
4.1 Initial Connection
- Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the mini PC to your monitor or TV. Alternatively, use a DisplayPort or USB-C cable for triple display setup.
- Connect Peripherals: Plug in your keyboard and mouse into the available USB ports.
- Connect to Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC Power Port on the mini PC and then plug it into a power outlet.
- Power On: Press the power button on the front of the mini PC. The power indicator light will illuminate.
4.2 Network Connection
You have two options for connecting to the internet:
- Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or modem to one of the 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN ports on the mini PC.
- Wireless Connection: The mini PC supports WiFi 6E. Once powered on, Windows 11 will guide you through connecting to a wireless network during initial setup or via the network settings.

4.3 VESA Mount Installation (Optional)
The included VESA mount allows you to attach the mini PC to the back of a compatible monitor or TV, saving desk space.
- Attach the VESA bracket to the back of your monitor using the provided screws.
- Slide the mini PC onto the VESA bracket until it clicks securely into place.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 First Boot and Windows Setup
On the first boot, Windows 11 Pro will guide you through the initial setup process. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure your region, language, keyboard layout, network, and user account.
5.2 Connecting Multiple Displays
The GMKtec M5 Plus supports up to three 4K displays simultaneously using its HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, and USB-C (DP Alt Mode) outputs. Connect your monitors and configure display settings within Windows (Right-click on desktop > Display settings).

6.1 Cleaning
