Introduction
The Polti Coffea S15B is an advanced espresso coffee machine designed for convenience and quality. Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
Carefully remove all packaging materials from the coffee machine. Before first use, it is recommended to clean the water tank, drip tray, and pod collection drawer with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
2. Filling the Water Tank
The Polti Coffea S15B features a removable 0.85 L water tank. To fill, gently lift the tank from its base and fill it with fresh tap water. Ensure the tank is securely placed back into position before operating the machine.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Heating Up
Plug the machine into a suitable power outlet. Press the power button (usually indicated by a light) to turn on the machine. Wait for the indicator light to become steady, signaling that the machine has reached the optimal brewing temperature.
2. Inserting an E.S.E. Pod
Lift the top lever to open the pod insertion slot. Place one E.S.E. 44 mm coffee pod into the slot. Close the lever firmly until it clicks into place. The machine is designed for automatic pod ejection into the internal collection drawer, ensuring your hands remain clean.

3. Brewing Coffee (Short or Long)
Place your cup on the drip tray. The machine offers two buttons on the top panel for selecting your desired coffee length: one for a short espresso and one for a longer coffee. Press the corresponding button to start brewing. The machine will automatically stop dispensing once the programmed quantity is reached.

4. Adjusting Coffee Temperature and Quantity
The Polti Coffea S15B allows you to customize the coffee temperature across three levels. Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Drip Tray and Pod Collection Drawer
Regularly empty and clean the drip tray and the internal pod collection drawer. The drip tray is located within the pod collection drawer. While the automatic ejection system keeps your hands clean, the collection drawer may accumulate residue and should be cleaned thoroughly. Due to its design, careful cleaning may be required to reach all areas.
2. Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits can build up inside the machine, affecting performance. It is recommended to descale the machine periodically, depending on the hardness of your water and frequency of use. Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions carefully. Refer to the complete manual for the descaling procedure.
