Setup and Installation

Blade Installation

1. Prepare the three fan blades and the fan motor unit.
2. Carefully insert each fan blade into its designated slot on the motor unit until it clicks securely into place. No screws are required for blade attachment.

Power Connection

1. Ensure the fan's on/off switch is in the "off" position.
2. Connect the red alligator clip from the fan's power cord to the positive (+) terminal of a 12V DC battery.
3. Connect the black alligator clip from the fan's power cord to the negative (-) terminal of the 12V DC battery.
4. Verify all connections are secure and that the battery is a 12V DC type before proceeding.

Hanging the Fan

Use the integrated hook on the top of the fan to hang it securely from a suitable support structure, such as a tent pole, gazebo frame, or RV ceiling. Ensure the hanging point is stable and can support the fan's weight during operation.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off

Once the fan is securely hung and connected to a 12V DC power source, slide the on/off switch located on the power cord to the "on" position to start the fan. Slide it to the "off" position to stop the fan.

Speed Control

The fan features 3 speed settings. Adjust the speed using the button control integrated into the power cord.

Airflow Direction

To change the airflow direction (e.g., for updraft or downdraft), you may need to physically reverse the fan blades. Disconnect power, carefully remove the blades, flip them over, and reinsert them securely. Reversing the polarity of the power connection will not change the direction of rotation.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Disconnect the fan from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe down the fan blades and motor housing. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the fan in water.

Blade Replacement

If a fan blade becomes damaged, disconnect power, carefully remove the damaged blade by sliding it out, and replace it with one of the provided spare blades. Ensure the new blade is securely inserted into its slot.

Troubleshooting

Fan Does Not Turn On

• Check if the power cord is securely connected to a 12V DC battery.
• Ensure the battery has sufficient charge.
• Verify the on/off switch is in the "on" position.
• Confirm correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).

Weak Airflow

• Check the fan speed setting; increase if necessary.
• Ensure blades are clean and free from obstructions.
• Verify the battery is providing adequate power.

Excessive Noise

• Ensure all fan blades are securely installed and not damaged.
• Check for any obstructions around the fan blades.
