4. Installation and Setup

Follow these steps for proper installation. Refer to the detailed installation video for visual guidance.

4.1. Pre-Installation

Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or a suitable electrical box rated for fan support.

4.3. Fan Assembly

  1. Attach blades: Install the three ABS fan blades to the motor assembly using the provided screws.
  2. Install LED light kit: Secure the LED light kit to the motor assembly.
  3. Feed wires: Carefully feed the electrical wires from the motor through the selected downrod.
  4. Attach downrod: Secure the downrod to the motor assembly.
  5. Install canopy: Slide the canopy over the downrod.

4.4. Wiring and Final Assembly

  1. Hang fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket.
  2. Connect wires: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the color codes (typically black to black, white to white, green/bare to ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
  3. Secure canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it with screws.
  4. Install shade: Attach the light shade to the LED light kit.

5. Operating Instructions

Your VONLUCE ceiling fan is controlled by the included remote. Ensure the remote has working batteries.
