1. Safety Instructions

Read all instructions carefully before beginning installation. Failure to follow these instructions could result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.

• Ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker before installation or maintenance.
• All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
• Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.
• The mounting bracket must be securely fastened to a building structure capable of supporting the fan's weight.
• Do not bend the blade holders during installation or cleaning.
• Keep children away from the fan during operation.
• Do not insert objects into the fan blades while the fan is operating.

4. Installation and Setup

Follow these steps for proper installation. Refer to the detailed installation video for visual guidance.

4.1. Pre-Installation

• Turn off power: Ensure the power supply is disconnected at the main circuit breaker.
• Unpack components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out.
• Select downrod: Choose between the 5-inch or 10-inch downrod based on your ceiling height and desired fan position.

4.2. Mounting Bracket Installation

Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or a suitable electrical box rated for fan support.

4.3. Fan Assembly

1. Attach blades: Install the three ABS fan blades to the motor assembly using the provided screws.
2. Install LED light kit: Secure the LED light kit to the motor assembly.
3. Feed wires: Carefully feed the electrical wires from the motor through the selected downrod.
4. Attach downrod: Secure the downrod to the motor assembly.
5. Install canopy: Slide the canopy over the downrod.

4.4. Wiring and Final Assembly

1. Hang fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket.
2. Connect wires: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the color codes (typically black to black, white to white, green/bare to ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
3. Secure canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it with screws.
4. Install shade: Attach the light shade to the LED light kit.

5. Operating Instructions

Your VONLUCE ceiling fan is controlled by the included remote. Ensure the remote has working batteries.

5.1. Remote Control Functions

• Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan and light on or off.
• Fan Speed: Select from 6 adjustable speeds (1-6) to control airflow.

• Light Control:
  • Stepless Dimming: Adjust brightness from 10% to 100%.
  • Color Temperature: Change light color from 3000K (warm white) to 6500K (cool daylight).

• Reversible DC Motor: Change the direction of the fan blades for seasonal use (downward airflow for cooling in summer, upward airflow for circulating warm air in winter). Ensure blades are fully stopped before changing direction.

• Timer Function: Set the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 4, or 8 hours.
• Memory Function: The fan remembers the last light and wind speed settings if turned off for more than 10 seconds. It will resume these settings upon restart.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan blades and motor housing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Blade Balance: Check for any wobbling. If wobbling occurs, ensure all blade screws are tight. A balancing kit may be used if necessary.
• Electrical Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections for tightness.
• Light Source: The LED light kit is integrated and not user-replaceable. Contact customer support if the light fails.
