- Battery Backup: The built-in CR2032 battery maintains time and alarm settings during power outages. Replace it if settings are lost frequently during power interruptions.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Clock display is off or flickering. | Power adapter not connected properly or power outage. | Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into the clock and a working outlet. Check household power. |
| Wireless charging not working. | Phone not Qi-enabled, not aligned correctly, or phone case is too thick. | Ensure your device supports Qi wireless charging. Reposition the phone centrally on the charging pad. Remove thick phone cases. |
| Display is too bright, even on lowest setting. | Brightness setting is not at the minimum or ambient light is very low. | Cycle through all 6 brightness levels to reach the lowest setting. Consider placing the clock in an area with slightly more ambient light if the lowest setting is still too bright for your preference. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Alarm not activated or volume is too low (if adjustable). | Verify that the alarm is set and activated (alarm icon visible). Check if there's a volume setting and adjust it. |
| Time/settings lost after power outage. | CR2032 backup battery is depleted or missing. | Replace the CR2032 backup battery. Ensure the plastic tab is removed from a new battery. |
